Our exceptionally comprehensive obstetrical ultrasounds are interpreted by Dr. Ruben Quintero, the world-renowned Perinatologist (Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist) credited with developing the lifesaving Quintero Staging system. All general (non-obstetric) ultrasounds are interpreted by Hawaii State licensed Radiologists. Image review, interpretation, and reporting are conducted by physicians based in the USA. These physicians are available to answer questions and provide support to referring providers. Our medical director oversees operations and is available to address any operational inquiries. Diagnostic exams are performed by Diagnostic Medical Sonographers highly trained in their specialties and Registered through the ARDMS. Maria Jampolsky, RDMS, is the Managing Director of HI Frequency Imaging and is well known for her perinatal ultrasound clinic days at Queen’s Specialty Practice on multiple islands. With over 20 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound, clinical education, and department management, Maria is passionate about improving access to high-quality imaging for patients on Hawai‘i’s neighbor islands. Her work has been published by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and she continues to advocate for excellence in patient care across the state. Ma'alahi is the newest member of our team and holds a Bachelor's degree in Ultrasonography. She brings specialized expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound and is fully registered and credentialed to perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging exams.
